Well that’s it for me, as much as I want to stay and soak in some of the rain I have to leave. Hopefully I can dry all my gear up for tomorrow. My season comes down to tomorrow, the day of days. Just need to give it some thought I think of what I’m going to do. Conditions are perfect to go to the range to an a half miles in. Only thing with going in that deep and the terrain I have to go over, it’s going to be at least 100” for me to shoot. Or do I stay where I saw the two bucks the other day? Conditions will be perfect for cruising along that ridge too. If I go there, I’ll shoot anything. I know I’ve said that before and not follow through, but this time I mean it! OK I’m climbing down

Well I made a tough call and switch stands after seeing 18 deer this AM. I’m now sat on the top of a huge hill with thick heavy woods all around me. I can see about 80yds out all around me. Good look everyone.
2 Doe behind me at 40yds. No shot. Think they were bedded back there. They worked off in the opposite direction.
I’m out. Skipped this morning to hang with the family. Moved about 40 yards to what seems like a pretty good pinch point. Same directions the 2 bucks I saw yesterday were heading. Different wind direction than yesterday but will be the same direction tomorrow AM. Plan on leaving the climber over night and hunting this tree in the AM
Back in the saddle! All set up in a brand new spot. Just scouted my way in and found a spot that looks good. Not seeing a lot of rubs or scrapes but I came in with a perfect wind in my face. Kind of a pinch point with the river cutting them off (ish...unless they wanna go for a swim). High hopes. Good luck PM shift. If it’s brown (and legal), it’s down!! Let’s go!! Just put 2 arrows in a funky looking buck. Saw him at 80. Grunted at him and he came running in. Shot him at 20, looked back. Grabbed another arrow and he gave me a hard quartering away 25yd shot. That one hit too. He ran another 50 and then I lost sight of him. Didnt hear anything . Don't know if he keeled over or walked off. Ill check in 30.
