It’s not that bad here. I have a great signal with AT&T. They just have Verizon. I’ve offered them the use of my WiFi hotspot but you know those independent types.
That’s it for me tonight guys. Had to leave early. Good luck and finish strong! I’ll be back at em again in the morning! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Thanks. Pretty sure he's 3.5, maybe 20# heavier than my 2.5 yo 2018 Pincushion buck that I shot 75 yards from where I popped this guy. Bases are almost too big to get my fingers around. If he's 4+ he's small for this area. I'll take him either way. He'd be 125-130 all day if he hadn't broke that G3. I'm proud of him. Worked my **** off for this deer and so relieved I get to close the book on last nights traveshamockery. Doe patrol here the rest of the weekend in WI... I AM BUCK TAGGED OUT !!!
By the way, I hate on NAP a lot but I shot him with my last Spitfire that I bought in like 2013. Planned on shooting a doe this AM so was like what the heck I'll load up with that. Anyway, hit was marginal to me, back of lungs and liver (I'm a devout shoulder hugger) , and he didn't make it 25 yards before he tipped over. Never knew what hit him. 25 yard shot, pass through and buried 6" into the dirt. The shot that didn't kill him was my last Rage Hypodermic, it hit and deployed horizontally on the top curve of the rib, glanced up instead of thru or down, over the spine and out. All fat. He was on a long downward angle from me last night. I think the head just hit perfectly wrong if you can understand. Had it not deflected up it would have been a lethal high double lung.
About 1 hour of legal shooting light left. I haven't seen anything that even looks like a deer Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
Of course, I'm giving most of the credit to shooting 535gr Man Arrows. Not that they helped me at all last night.
I caught something similar.... only your bucks much bigger and mine didn’t fully expose himself to the camera. lol Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
My view for the evening This is the spot where my doenemisis Felicia always picks me off. Haven't hunted this stand nor seen her yet this year. I swear if I get a clear shot at 50 or less I'm taking it. She needs to die.
I was kidding about the rage comment earlier. Glad you got him. But like you, I still have one spitfire in the quiver... More for a long followup, but cut over to the (coc, fixed) magnus stingers this year... **** happens... A branch, hard angle, failed deploy, etc. Had em happen. I just wanted something more foolproof.
I kinda feel like it's a ghost town here. Sent from my SM-G965U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
The story of my life. This guy just walked by at 10 yards. No clue I was here. This is a screenshot of the phone video I shot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
