Now this feels like November! I’m in. Got in here early and deer moving all around. Few blew at my headlamp when I was climbing tree. Now nothing to be seen imagine that. I did have this guy just now at 5 yds.

Well. Took forever and 2 days but I am finally set up in the saddle. I am hunting a spot I have never been to on public land. Nothing is safe. Absolutely everything is on the menu today! (Well, i did pass on a raccoon on my way up the tree). Already saw 3 or 4 doe walking by me when I was at the base of my tree getting ready to climb. 1st hunt of the season. Not sure what to expect haven’t done any prep this year. I put out cameras about 10 weeks ago and never got chance to check them. It’s a nice cold low 30s and I have a doe and 2 fawns around me for the last 30 min. Good luck everyone.
