    The weeks after Minnesota’s gun season are so disheartening. You know there are still deer, but you also always have it in the back of your head that a TON of them were killed and your chances of seeing them have decreased significantly.

    We March on.

    In my rush to get out here I forgot to put my big bibs on. Feels like temp is 20 degrees with a nice 10-15MPH NW wind.

    Rained all day yesterday and was real cold all day today. My stand seat is frozen/wet.

    and the moon since Oct. 27th'ish.

    One thing I thought would help was a somewhat on time or even early harvest, early harvests may be hindersome now as farmers rush out to get the fields chisel plowed while weather is somewhat favorable.

    Curious after the recovery and during the butchering process whether you find any sort of injury on his right front or left rear legs.

    Didn't you post a pic of him awhile ago? Thought I called him corkscrew or something, may have been someone else with a different buck.

    Lastly is the date on that camera correct. Could be 9 year old buck if so

    god I hope so. Wife is starting to get pissed I spend so much time in the woods with so little to show. Not sure she believes I am hunting.
    keep your head up Brett- it will happen. Honestly at this point I am not even looking for buck sign I am looking for doe bedding and travel routes.
