Congrats to her, she showed you up well Was it spined? No easier track than that, seen the entry in the first pic and last one shows arrow still there. Dead deer, no worries on critiquing, I just love to understand shots, placement and recovery. You have some stepping up to do, you've been outdone by a girl
Good luck bro! Show them MO guys how we do it here in AR!! Wait...I believe it’s not a fair fight going up against LC. He is the GOAT! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums

I'll throw another $50 towards that. Arkansas is a "different" place.... lol Sent from my SM-G965U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
They're all in MO though I lived in Searcy, AR for a short time though. 45 minutes north of Little Rock, 35 miles east of Newport and 25 miles west of Jacksonville. Dry counties suck balls.
Anything that far south is lap-lander country. Where Arkansas laps over in to MO. Sent from my SM-G965U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
So uh, has Joe killed a deer? lol I got a little behind. Sent from my SM-G981V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Alright so while waiting for dark in stand a good sized spike comes in. I have a buck and an antlerless tag. So i get ready to shoot him. Iowa law, anything without a fork in the antler is considered antlerless. Nic a twig and spin him. Stick another arrow in him. Watch him die. Then realize its the beginning of the rut. And ive just shot my 4th deer. Pending i find the first one. So i get all my stuff(mobile saddle setup) down out of the tree. Look its 4:06. I just climbed out of a tree at the best time of the year. Get my stuff and the antlerless deer to house. Head out right at dark like i planned. Take up blood trail for first buck. Starts dwindling off quick. To absolutely no blood. So i start following trails through sume thick ****. I get to a down couple trees entangled into each other. Get hung up on some ***** bushes and start shaking to get out. I hear something. And pause. That sounds like a deer on other side of tree. Bust out of bushes like rambo. Over the trees... NOTHING..... 10 feet up i see a indention in the grass. Buck is laying there looking at me. Its jumps up stumbles around like a good night out gets ya. Then goes down. It is dark i have a couple buck knives and a pocket knife and a spot light. By myself. So i pull a knife grab an antler. He bounds back up. Falls back over. I flip his head upside down. Stick knife in him. He kicks free knife got thrown, light shuts off. Im in a 4 foot by 6 foot clearing on brush wounded deer dark cant see my hand in front of my face. Pull my phone out. Grab light new knife. Flip head, knee on antler. Hand on front leg. And slice his throat. Dead on seconds. Some say its cruel. I said gave him quickest death i could without being able to shoot him. Post pics in a min.
