I shot bows, both compound and trad, several years ago. I've never taken an animal with one, but I'm diving in hard. Just picked up a Bowtech Revolt this evening, now to practice and get ready to hit the woods with it.

I'm looking forward to learning a lot here

Anyone harvested a buck yet this season? Post em up if so! We've had a ton on camera with a single 8 dominating the night hours. Patiently waiting for them to start moving during the day now that the cold snap is back.

i have only one story . i was in a stand over a corn field when a buck stepped out of the woods under my tree 10 ft out. i let the arrow fly , heard the impact , heard the thunder of his hooves as he stormed off into the corn the rushing sound as he broke thru the corn . i have never heard anything like that before. then came the crash when he went down. bow hunting is the way to go for me. Good luck
