I was just going through the list myself. Thanks for thinking about it as well Ty. We don’t want to piss off the scorecard moderator, I heard that guy is a real hard*** Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Oh please..... What did I miss or forget? Edit: I see it now. How did I miss the fact in the team thread that a teammate killed a buck? I posted all around it. Sorry Ash. I guess my attention was really focused on the flooring job I was doing. Congratulations on the buck!!
Just got it scored up. I’ll put it here first and if it look good I’ll put in score card thread. FYI I have all the pics needed
My apologies Ash, but when I said earlier that it looked good to me I had only looked at the total score vs. the pics you posted. What I didn't notice at the time was your score sheet appears to be in 1/4" increments. It needs to be in 1/8" increments. I'm afraid you're going to need to re-do the scoring breakdown and list every measurement to the nearest 1/8", preferably using fractions and not decimals for the mathematically challenged among us.
Ash, idk if anyone has said anything yet but you’ll probably have to go back and restore your buck to the nearest 1/8, decimals to the nearest .125 would also work Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Well guys I have made the decision that really hurts me, I’m going to leave work around 9:30 and hunt the rest of the day. The wind is still up a little bit it’s bluebird skies, 30.4 pressure, with peak movement being mid day. I haven’t hunted this property since November 8 2019 and only stepped foot on it to change out a stand in early September. I have high hopes but Im also unsure what to expect in the afternoon/evening because I’ve only hunted 3 evenings in the last 7 years of having permission on this particular piece. Well quick update from me, Friday's hunt was a terrible idea I was not well enough to try it and all weekend I felt like a mack truck hit me and then Carole Baskin killed me. Good news is last night around 9pm woke up to use the bathroom and could breathe finally, today heading into work still not 100% and congestion comes and goes but turning the corner I hope. Hope @fletch920 is in his corner or better pulling around it himself as well!
Yesterday I was able to walk up and down the hall and sit for a while in a chair. Hope to do more today. Still in bed for now. Tough illness.
Not sure why it posted twice. I think I should have stayed at work. Come out to the property and the landowners decided to have a Halloween fire Saturday night 50 yards from my stand if that’s not bad enough the neighbor has decided to redo his dock leading out to the lake. I’m honestly at a loss and have no idea if I should stay here the rest of the day as it is a phenomenal cruising spot or walk back to the truck and head to where I killed my buck earlier this year. Blue spot is me, red line is where they’re hammering and impacting away, red dot is the fire with 10 chairs around it yellow lines are normal deer travel. I just don’t know what to do. I think you should stay if the rut is on and it’s a good cruising spot like you say I’d think they will show up. Good luck
Little chief can you delete my buck from the scorecard thread then I will enter a new post with the correct scoring. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Not to mention their scent is blowing right down the horizontal green line on the top edge of the lake Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Dang man! Keep sucking fluids in and bombard your system with vitamins...not much else you can do. Get better bud!
