    Good luck Katts.
Did not see a deer from the stand this morning.
Got back to the cabin and while undressing, 5 small bucks cruised by:lol:

Well fellas it was hit high! She was at 20yda. Slight quarter away. Dumb me, aimed high 24-27yrd. I believe I scraped her back, No blood trail, small smear of blood on vane. I had just got in the stand when they came. Nanny doe saw me move. I froze for forever it seems like. Wasn’t positioned well to draw clean. I rushed the shot, realistically! Hope to be back next weekend, try to that 8

I got a good one for ya! On my way I almost hit a doe trying run across the highway! Once I was close to my property, a young 4 jump out & ran in front of my truck for about a 1/4 mi. Then decide to jump over the fence

Katts. Thats the way it goes alot more often than most admit. We mentally prepare for the perfect shot scenario while in a stand but most times don't go we "planned".
Being pinned down by a deer for awhile can wreak a guys nerves. By the time a shot happens, our minds can be frazzled.
    Saddle up for round 2:bow:

bullshit!, getting old VS and turning into a pussy. Lol.

For some reason, I do like a cold morning sit but not an evening one?

I can't imagine what some of you fellas have to go through to even SEE a deer.
Lets start a Go Fund me page for swampy. Enough for a flight ticket and he can hunt on my land for 5 days all by himself.
    That dudes got brass balls:cool:
Anywhoo, God luck man, you got brass balls yourself!

Been out a few times. Passed probably 20 does, just waiting on the rut. Does bring the bucks in.
We’re headed back in the morning, the wife’s aunt passed this afternoon.

Nice job VS! I sat down and started going thru the trail cam pics. There looks to be 2-3 different bucks showing up at night/early morning. Here are some pics, what's your take of them, different of same?
