Learned something new.. my jacket is not water proof... slow process of getting wet and cold. Don’t know if I’ll make it all day. Being this deep, safety is a real concern.

Way to kill Mongo and Mike.

    Sorry to hear Holt.

I was at a card party last night...got home at 2am, up at 545, and knocked up at 639 with daylight at 745. Saw about 20 does and 3 bucks no shooters. Activity from dawn until 10. All bucks were following does, but no hard chasing. Mowed the yard, ate brunch, going to sleep until 3 while the UofM-v-MSU game is on and then back out.

I’m on the farm off the grid!
Lots of movement on the trail cams during light. Few nice bucks but no monarchs unfortunately. It is the rut, so I’m heading out for a long afternoon sit.
    Safe hunts Y’all.

Just got in the blind 30 minutes ago. Gonna sit the rest of the afternoon.

    My view today.

This ground blind maybe the best placed and hidden one I have out
Sits in a big hole between 2 sycamore trees. I'm pretty much eye level with the field.

Plans forced to change again...no camp but took a mid day slow stalk. No deer, birds, squirrel...I mean DEAD!
I did find a single large fresh bed not far from old reliable 2 stand. Found some tracks. Checked mast, oaks not hit hard, chestnuts gone. They got all of them big and small. No new rubs, cams dead.

That's awesome! Just what you needed to rejuvenate your season! Next time just say "HEY" in a loud voice if they don't stop with a grunt.
