    Hunting in some thick stuff way off the road but can see some what out into the field.

    At first light see a truck stop - he’s clearly looking out into the field at a buck I can’t see.

    I rattle - in comes 8 pointer to 5 yards. Just not what I had hoped the guy was looking at.

    Sitting on a clearing today that the bucks love to cruise. Just need the right one to show up or a doe to pass by. Today is my middle daughters 18th b day, so Im not sure if ill do an evening sit. She's pretty cool so she may just tell me to go.

    Saw some does this evening. No shots. Tomorrow morning should be very nice crispy and frosty. Can't wait.

    Been seeing a lot of bucks just not the right one yet. I saw an enormous one tonight at about 1000 yards. Without using binocs the thing looked like an elk. He was chasing a doe around the local ski hill.

    Sorry guys. Just a big doe. Rest of deercation is all buck!!!!! I did see Mr 6 this morning, 60 yards then he walked off. Grunted and bleated some, waited another hour. He never came in. Recovering doe now.

    I've seen 8 deer total. 2 unknowns before legal light that were close, 4 other bucks including the fella I shot 2 weeks ago. He's alive and well with a limp. Had the doe he and another big 8 were with had turned left i would have had a shot. They went right of course. The other was a doe. Action packed morning, just nothing in front of me.
