    I don't give a crap what the so-called experts say, the rut is early this year. Thankfully I took the last week of October off plus the first week of November.

    Wasn't able to make it out tonight, got a very late start due to crap at home but the important thing is I'm at camp and ready to roll in the morning. I'm off to an inauspicious start though, generator quit about a half an hour ago will start but won't stay running but as long as the batteries got enough to keep the furnace going tonight that will be plenty because I somehow managed to break my TV so it's bedtime for me now. Least I've got some instant coffee or I'd be really pissed.

    One good thing is on my way back from the grocery store I was shining and I think I saw that giant six or seven point that I saw on September 30th in a CRP area that I think I will be hunting in 2 or 3 days when the wind shifts from N to S.. He was in the APR county again so I really hope he's a 7. Saw him Maybe half mile from where I saw him last month.

    See you boys at the 0530 wake up call. Full moons can suck it.

    Got the gennie running again. Some googduckgoog sleuthing and found out I may have vaporlocked it as I did overfill it a bit. Opened up the fuel cap, gave it two pulls and it fired right up, stalled out, and then fired right up on one pull.. Been running for 25 minutes without a hitch. Surprising because it ran for probably an hour and a half after I filled it up but Guess maybe that's the amount of time it took to create the vacuum effect. or maybe I don't know what the hell I'm talking about and just got phantom issues.

    Decided to stay in this morning due to the full moon last night. Headed out in a bit to pick u a couple new chairs for the ground blinds I plan on putting in later this morning.

    After Wednesday nights recon mission I have picked a couple spots to put them in where I always see bucks come out in the evenings.

    Will slip nto one of them this evening and see if I can get it done!

    Good luck morning crew :bow::deer:

    Good Luck, AM shift!! I'm eating breakfast and will be hunting at our farm this morning. Can't wait to see what's moving here.
    It'll be a "fairly" short set. Have to take the wife and boys to the pumpkin patch for a 10:45 hay ride. Plenty of time to get it done.
    I'll post once it's light out.
    Looks like a good day for a Bloody Friday!!
