Second card pull was the same 3.5yo 10. This area doesn’t really keep bucks through the summer but things change up when they shed velvet. Hopefully start seeing some bigger bucks then. I set up a stand I can access through the corn to a point in a field I jumped a decent buck last year 5BD4A631-C53B-4925-A001-763BAFFF42DF.jpeg 2C030802-5EBC-488A-B4EC-5B862EE73F7A.jpeg 35EC8266-D459-45FC-9AD5-C4B41C0A7B0B.jpeg

In the stand for the second time this year! Beautiful morning with cold temps and low winds after a big storm. I'm after buck or doe today, which ever walks in front of me.

On the board! It's not the largest buck but I have limited time hunting on the property and no larger bucks are around do to sickness in the herd and because the neighbors took out a very important cover source. This buck has been on camera the past week every evening around the same time so we he came in I was ready. I stopped him at 12 yards and he gave me a perfect broadside shot. He ran 70 yards and crashed. I'm going to be measuring him today and I'll get the official score.

been slow so far .. sat 4 hrs yesterday AM in the tree where I killed my 205lber 8pt last season (scrape IS being hit) and 6.5 in the pm, two different locations, not a deer seen, but that is on State land, it didnt help matters that duck/goose opened up yesterday, it sounded like WWIII back in the marshes/lakes.. Im sure all that blasting and truck traffic on the levies and roads disrupted the deer.... also there were others walking around back in there, had a guy come in at 3:30 PM and set up 150 yds from me with a climber and kinda cut me off, I even yo'd twice to let him know I was there, and the clownboy still set up where he did ... I cant stand Elmer Fudds like that ... I would never do that to another, I'd move on, not to mention setting up that late in the day .. SHEESH !! ...

I got a slob yesterday. How and where do I need to post him for our team?

    He scores 214.
