That actually a different little 5 point. The first one was bigger. Now, I am second guessing passing. Oh well, little bucks are moving.

I’m out, nothing else for me. At least I got to try out my heated vest too, works good.

I need a doe to get bumped to me or a bigger buck. I can’t believe I have had 5 deer in bow range and the only legal one had no shot.

running around the mountains in Vermont for youth weekend hoping to get a kid his first deer. Very calm and rather warm conditions this morning.

Sorry just seeing this. I think it depends on size of the water. Like a lake would act different then a drainage ditch. I'm only familiar with small streams. But for the most part these streams are run off or cold water springs, so usually they are colder then the air.

Nothing for me, got down about an hour ago and did some stalking, got 15 yards from doe bed, she saw me first, circled to wind me, almost had a shot on her.
Pulling over watch on this creek and field in case something sneaks out, I can use creek and wind as cover. AAD0EEF0-7720-4E30-A095-2B0B0BC433D7.jpeg

That was an exciting morning guys, on second thought I think what I saw was a different buck than the one I had on camera, basically I saw a doe pop out of the pines and was watching her then I hear sticks breaking and a couple grunts, grab my bow, catch a glimpse of him coming through the pines and could tell he was legal, drew back, meh’d when he hit my shooting lane but he was on a mission after that doe, they took off up the hill behind me then about 2 minutes later a little spike came through grunting as well. To bad tomorrow is Sunday and PA is stupid!! Going to get after that same spot a day this week, just told me boss I’m going to be sick a day this week lol!!

All done, I came, I saw, I got yelled at by deer. Both of my gut feelings were wrong today...oh well, I’ll be in Illinois Wednesday.
