Decided to not go out this morning, wind is a funky rare direction so no need in giving the deer population an education.
This feeling of not knowing and waiting is killing me. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Going to hang in here another 30 minutes. Getting pretty cold. Was not dressed right. Need my overall bottoms.
Well I had a deer coming through the thick stuff only to have it turn around and go back. I can see them good but cannot hear them at all. I think I would rather be able to hear them vs see only see them.
I stood at the car and debated that with myself this morning. I opted for the heavier stuff. Sure glad I did. Only thing i wish I had is my heated hand muff. I have a horrible time keeping my hands warm Sent from my SM-N950U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
I think that's it for me this morning. Only saw the 4 does. Gonna drive into town for some grub and then take a nap. Not sure what the plan is for this afternoon. Maybe sit on the ground near a very active fence crossing. Good luck happy. You got this! Sent from my SM-N950U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
I’ve seen three or four does down at the edge of the cut over that borders my property on the east side. Nothing else. I did wear my heated vest today and aside from the power pack turning itself off and me having to fight to unplug the vest and plug it back in it’s incredible. Staying toasty warm.
Back at the house having a hit cup of Black Rifle coffee. I was warm enough ,but like Jim said, my hands were a bit cold. Probably could've used my bibs honestly. Never did see a deer and thats a good cruising spot. Wont be back till tomorrow morning. Sent from my SM-G960U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Gonna climb down at 11, just had a guy walk through with a climber on his back, maybe he will bump something up
