Good luck everyone. My work has been so crazy that my hunting time has dwindled down to nothing right now. Hopefully after the election my time will free up more

 

Passed on two bucks this year both would’ve been around 120 hoping for a bigger one come rut time. There’s usually around 15 does every time I go sit so hoping that brings in a bigger buck!

I got in the tree stand 5:00 pm on Tuesday. Saw 2 does 50 yards, 7 does in the hay field 300 yards, a 10 points ( not a shooter ) 100 yards.
Try to hunt this weekend

Only a couple does and no shot

 

Just a doe afar yesterday. I had a basket 8 and a couple of does <20 yds tonight.

Seen a basket 8 on the drive out of the property owners driveway. It's about 1/2 mile drive way. THe buck didn't stick around when headlights lite him up.

 

Back out this morning, seen one early couldn't tell what it was.

 

Nothing this morning, just tree rats and Alvin, Theodore and Simon

 

I might be able to get in a tree this afternoon. I’ll definitely be out all weekend!

Well I bought a house finally divorced and back in the woods again...I been seeing a bunch of nubbins couple of 6pts daily...in the woods now as we speak I think I saw two nice shooter bucks if they don't come in tonight ill get in my other stand tomorrow morning closer to them...I almost think they are locked down to a doe

We tracked this morning for a good friend and Ruby found his 8ptr 400+yds from the hit. I had my doubts about recovery because the buck was going down and up some big ravines.


I was able to hunt the Base this afternoon, and saw a nice shooter. I had rattled and he was on my backside where I had hollies. I never saw him, but he picked off my movement and took off. Oh well...
