77 degrees. This blind is steamy. Cold front tonight and tomorrow's high is supposed to be 50. My bow/muzzleloader tags run out tonight so I'm hoping to get something before my tag count goes from 4 to 2 with rifle season starting tomorrow.
Storm is here, lighting a bit close for comfort. I see blue skies moving quick my way though. I’m sticking it out, rain is bearable.
I’m all set up for the evening sit. The front moved through but almost all of the rain missed us. The leaves on the ground are almost dry. The wind is now blasting out of the north which is totally wrong for the stand I was in this morning so I carried another Viper over and am 30’ up. I have to go high here due to lack of cover. I’m definitely getting tossed around but it feels too good out not to hunt. The temp has been dropping since 11:30. Let’s see what happens.
No, I tested negative for it, but they tested me after they administered the blast of doxycycline. 2017, I had a doctor's appointment at the VA the day after I had found the tick embedded in me. she gave me the meds, and then suggested I get tested. 3 weeks later I had Lyme like symptoms but still tested negative. I then went on 2 months worth of meds and felt better about a month later. I'm having phone issues now, or I would be calling and making an appointment. I'm going to call Monday morning.
JK, I’m getting hammered, slight mid calculation on the direction. My little umbrella is struggling to keep up.
got a little warm walking in. Im well layered, and those insulation layers sure are working saw a 2.5 year old 8 point this morning, hoping the evening sit is more productive. everything is still soaked from the rain last night so hearing something coming pretty much out of the question.
Nature is taking it out on your teammate. The rain was supposed to be over with but it’s raining. I have no umbrella. Had to scramble to get my Ozonics tucked under my jacket
To the torment of my neighbors I was outside shooting arrows shirtless....On Oct 23rd. Get out of here heat. Off to crank off close to 40 hrs of work in 3 days. After that its on..... Good luck tonight fellas!
If you got what I went through, good luck, I’m glad I brought this little umbrella. I was hugging the tree so hard you’d of thought there was a glory hole in the trunk.
