I'll be off work soon. Gonna grab a beer and binoculars and head out to an observation spot to see if i can spot any vultures or crows. Also listening for coyotes. I don't think I'll hunt till Saturday tho.

    Well boys... couple quick thoughts!

    1. Most important reminder that health, friends, family and faith are more important than Whitetail - although they come in on the short list that. Fix proved that a few days ago! A few others have family/friends dealing with a bad hand. Prayers to you all.

    2. If you join the contest you gotta enter your kill. Don’t join the contest if you’re not going to enter your kill. Especially this early on... If it’s December and your team is out of it - fine! But keep the good vibes flowing and enter your harvest!

    3. Sweet November is almost upon us! Enjoy the outdoors - enjoy the fruits (meats) of your labor! This season seems to come and go all too quickly! Count your blessing while in the stand - appreciate the game and world around you!

    4. If you got a wife - thank her for letting you be obsessed with this way of life. My wife allows me to Hunt. Fish. Golf. way more than I deserve. Thank her... She will appreciate it.

    5. Sorry for the deep post - hunting Whitetail gives me a lot of time to think! It resets me better than anything!

Couldn't say this better. I'm so stressed out with this job situation and I have to remind myself daily how lucky I am and that we will be OK.

I've been super busy with work and clinicals. I'll be out soon. A decent amount of buck activity the last 5 days or so on camera but only one in daylight. The time is coming!

    Congrats Fix on the double!

Yes. If you don't feel comfortable please let us know and we can help as best as we can. There are other options like having a taxidermist measure for you. It isn't super hard man, so just reach out here or on the forum in general. Don't let it intimidate you.

I personally can offer to help when that time comes. Through duo(video app) or pics and lines on pics I can instruct on what to measure. We can do it in 20 mins.

Yes you do. Also, since your back you need to enter your doe on the scorecard page so we get credit for it. We can help you score a buck. It's not that hard.

So is 400 3/8 our up to date score? If so we are definitely in the thick of this and it's ours for the taking!!!!!

I think it is correct, but I'm pretty sure I saw one team that still has a buck that the team member hasn't posted yet. It may have been posted by now, not sure. Regardless, we are in the hunt. Things are picking up here and I have all next week off, so I feel some points coming on. Pre rut is my favorite time to hunt here.
