I have not eaten them in 25 years nor hunted for them...My son is hell on em with his pellet gun. we have about 10 in the freezer..i used to cook them in the crock pot with veggies. what yall do with em if you eat em?
Cut into quarters... cover them in chicken broth and pressure cook them for 30 minutes. Take out and dredge in your favorite breading. I use regular ole flour. Salt and pepper and fry like chicken in cast iron skillet. Make gravy with some dripping from skillet and serve with taters, greens and biscuits! Slap your granny for the last bite good!

Just clean them, roll in flour and fry them. Makes great gravy! Wife never did anything else before frying them. Or maybe Kentucky squirrels were tender.
