Wind is absolutely terrible for this spot but I didn’t have time to move my set so here I am.

I seem to be covered in bucks every sit. Somehow I need to put this together and get it done. I'm doing all I can. now I need the luck part of the hunt to kick in.

No definitely a deer but never came out of the swamp. Listen to it walking around for about 30 minutes and I could smell it. Closest it got was probably 30 yards. Way to thick to tell what it was.

What I was afraid of happen. The wind died down and the thermals kicked in. It did a 180 on direction my scent is going. Now it's blowing directly into the bedding! Gonna ride it out for the evening any way to see if deer come from any other direction.

Yeah a doe and fawn already caught my wind. Didn’t blow just ran off. Probably not the best decision to sit here tonight.

I checked this scrape this morning from a hilltop, it had not been worked since it stopped snowing sometime middle of last night.
Just got into the blind and wala, its been worked today.
    Beautiful evening to be out.

I have a good feeling about tonight.
I do not like sitting in this ground blind though. Feels wierd.

The sound of ravens verbing is kinda relaxing. 20201021_160053_001.jpg is kinda relaxing.

From the buck behavior I've seen and heard from other guys in my area. I'm guessing peak rut will be halloween.
