I’m headed back up to hunt this weekend and the weather looks like it should be cooler so I’m hoping that gets some of these big boys on their feet during the day.

I'm sitting in a groundblind now overlooking a very active scrape.
Dirt thrown on top of fresh snow always gets me pumped.

Yeah other noght i had a small basket 6 come in no 9pt tho supposed to rain friday a bit whatever dont stop me...! This week end i have open schedule and my main public spot will be open for me to go now so ill sneak up to my secret spot 1.5 miles in cant wait...!

Took another beating tonight with 0 deer seen. This is my slowest October in a long long time. But Im built for it...had worse

Sorry to just get back to ou guys on boys buck. SARGE found it.walked almost a half mile never bedded, crazy! 28 hrs after shot. Heck of a first bow buck!

You getting anytime to hunt for yourself?

Set up a groundblind overlooking a super active scrape a few days ago.
Sat this eve and seen 10 deer. No bucks?
The scrape was cleaned out during the day. Dirt thrown all over fresh snow.
I've got some unbelievable private grounds to hunt but the older bucks are kicking my ass this year.

I have only been out twice. Let that nice 8 go first night and shot a doe the 2nd. Will do some morning sits in a few more days.

 

We need someone to break the ice and kill another deer. Lets go 6!
