Hunted Ohio yesterday morning, no deer at all. Tried a big timber spot I used to hunt years ago, was a scout/hunt trip. Didn’t see the sign back there like I did years ago, going to go out this afternoon for a sit to an area I’ve been having luck the last couple seasons. Good luck all!

Sitting out this afternoon again. Much warmer today than yesterday! No worries about being hit with ice pellets, although the gnats are also out. Well only 1 bone head showed up...kind of...walk out of the pines and into the "black forest". Not a shooter anyway...other than that I had some mommas and babies traveling through...drank from the water source loud enough it sounded like a dog drinking from the bowl! Saw a doe with three fawns this morning. I was waiting for a good buck this morning. I did notice that a screw in my bottom cam had backed out just a bit. Took care of it when I got home. Glad to see ur ok after that collision. My cameras are showing some movement earlier in the evening as well. No big bucks yet. I'm hunting a public spot tonight with no luck yet. Climbed a tree and noticed someone's ripped 4 trees up around me with a climber. Apparently I'm not the only one who thought this was a good spot. I’ll be hunting from 30th-16th, my wife took vacation bc I was supposed to be in Kansas, didn’t draw so I’ll be in Ohio !
I'm planning to get back out there Friday thru Sunday with another cold front coming in. Hopefully connect this time with a broadhead instead of a Chevy decal!
