note I said "big name's flagships" Actually, the only decent pro shop around me doesn't even carry Hoyt. I am not a hater, just haven't shot one in over 25 years.
Dwayne, how did it all shake out for you? Every bow and every set up is different but I've found that sweet spot between 500 and 550 grains most shooters find a sweet spot for them. I personally have NEVER experienced worse groups by going heavier.
Worked out well. I got my Vertix dialed in at 20 and 60 for me HHA with no problems. I have shot out to 80 yards and it is shooting really well. I can't shoot over 80 where I am, but I will be shooting longer distances when I go to my Dad's house. Really looking forward to seeing how this arrow will perform with a fixed blade broadhead this year. Shooting the NAP Hellrazor.
I’m pulling 74# at 29” shooting 585. My arrows fly absolute like darts all the way out to 60 yards. I only plan to shoot a deer at no farther than 35 yards. So my set up should have no problem hitting the mark since I’m up close and personal. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
We are all target shooters for 9/12 months every year. I hope you’re shooting targets beyond 40 lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
