Aaahhh the wind it just kept building and building. Now I have a freight train out my closed window again ...rain coming in for a rip roaring morning. Oh well stripping leaves so I have less back pack cleaning to do. Not sure whether I'll do trails this year. Walking in so far has driven me out of my mind. I really hate the noise.
If you go out in the morning good luck and be safe

I don't hunt in the rain much, maybe light drizzle, but my camo gear is still waterproof. I can't imagine actually being wet on stand.

It's coming, team 5 is about to show our cards...

I put in a request for Saturday off this morning, Nice and cool with a new moon, I think work is going to fight me a bit on it but we'll see who wins. I can't risk my November hunting for a mid October hunt though

    We'll see

Yeah, cooler weather is a must. Couple guys at work wanting some meat so if I get one I can split it up and not have a lot of burden on myself to get it processed and in the freezer.

I have so much meat in the freezer may have to give some beef and pork to my brother or have a cookout to make room.

Sold my XOP Air Raid and climbing sticks to a guy from high school I work with. Still have two lone wolfs and a set of climbing sticks, My first sit I am taking one of them with me and putting it up on the South end of the property, still feel that is where I need to be. I just have to stop procrastinating and do it.

I agree that's needs to be done. With the lack of stands in there, means no one else is probably hunting it. I would say it's a good option to have.

I'm back to the truck. Had three more does and a small buck come by. Pretty good for the second sit of the season. I thought i had something coming in at last light and I did, two fat raccoons.
