That’s going to be a good time to be in the woods here in Ohio. Starting Halloween the bucks are usually chasing Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Just bought a Tacticam solo hunter. I'm testing out tomorrow, hopefully I'll get some good videos of the PA trip next weekend. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G925A using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
First time in a tree this year! Hoping for doe. Anybody else out tonight? Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Heard a buck grunting in the thicket about 50 yards north of me. Never seen him. Then a doe snuck in at last light. If she would have came in 10 minutes earlier she would of been in trouble. Lol Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
No luck last night. Bumped a couple walking in but nothing moving after that. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I'm back at it for the rest of this week as long as nothing on the farm breaks and needs emergency repairs! Little warmer than I would like but I always enjoy my October week before it gets toe freezing cold in November for my two weeks off. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
I made it out for my second hunt of the season here in PA tonight. I passed on about an 110 inch 10 point about 30 minutes before dark. Just hoping for something a little bigger. As I was getting ready to go out this afternoon I had set my bow out on the porch and about 30 minutes later my wife said there were 2 shooters out in the yard, too bad she frowns upon me shooting deer from the house. Keep after it everyone.
Got a good feeling about this morning. Coolest morning we've had since Saturday and it's deathly still in the woods. Fingers crossed I can at least drop a doe this morning I gotta start getting some meat stacked up! Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
My good vibes pulled through boys! Pics comin soon but I'll be eating doe backstrap for lunch! Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
Alright there she is fellas. Fawn distress call pulls through for me yesterday. It was gettin to be 1030AM or so and hadn't seen a whisper of movement other than the leaves falling all morning so I figured what the hell and gave a few bleats. Not 10 minutes later I hear something down to my right and this doe had walked up right to within 10 feet of the ladder for that stand. I turned and she loped off a few steps then continued to walk past the stand. I double checked the range of a couple trees where she was going to pass through and as soon as she cleared a small one between me and her I lined her up and let fly. I could see the blood all over that tree with the no trespassing sign on it as soon as she ran by it and I knew she was in the freezer then. All in all not a bad morning; 50 pts for the good guys and a good start for next year's dinners! Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
