Plan for Friday if the wind is S or SSE like they are predicting. Yellow is bedding I bumped a decent mature 10 out of last year on a SE wind in the rain. White is the trail in, red is my entry. I hung a stand the second weekend in sept and it looked very evident that it’s still being used as bedding, just not sure what. Hopefully the buck I bumped last year. If he’s in the bed, it could get tricky trying to get a shot at the bed but very doable. FE826B79-1831-4051-95AB-294EF63D380C.jpeg

First week coverage. My hunting was very slow. My brothers fared better than I did. Luke did a great job with the kill shot angles.

We’re on the board fellas! For those of you that don’t follow the LFTS thread. My bow took a dump from the tree last weekend. I’ve got it back on though. Need to adjust my sight a hair which I’ll get done this weekend. Looking fwd to mid/late October.

Had a doe at 35. I wanted bad to set an arrow free. It was 80 degrees, it’s still early, and that’s not a spot I want to blow apart just yet. I had to sneak out of the stand and I was almost back to the corn and she let out a little Blow. So I scurried off into the corn. Psychological warfare tactics..... run from the deer so they feel empowered

my 8.jpg View attachment 116648 Took the day off and worked on food plots at the club , finished up around 3:30 and wasn’t planing on hunting but with the rains moving in tonight I decided to sit in the box stand at my little farm . At 615 I looked up just as he popped Out of the neighbors clear cut onto my property , he stood there and surveyed the woods for 3 or 4 mins and finally decided it was safe to proceed , he walked right in front of the stand at 15 yards and I popped both lungs . He ran 30 yards and stopped , did the weeblewobble and keeled over . I’ll score and enter him in the morn ,

Set up a camera watching this right of way Saturday and then I went to check the other stand. Where I put out a trophy rock last year was all dug up. I guess I should’ve put a cam there 88D12245-5E78-48DF-A210-27CB7C4CEF2D.jpeg F2A23015-E275-45C3-B6D4-CE3DBF33D002.jpeg

Had a good sit tonight. 11 deer in total, no buck though. Could’ve had a couple easy shots at 2 doe but no doe tag for this area.
