    I’m heading back out to the stand tonight. Just got done checking the cams, and we finally have some bigger deer moving around now, some even during daylight hours! I’m hoping to see deer number 1 from the stand this year.

    Can you shoot a bear VS?

    Excellent sit tonite
    Seen about 20 does, 3 bucks. 1 buck was maybe 18" wide but longest time was about 4". Nice 3.5 year old but I doubt he'll ever amount to much?

    They won't allow bow kills for bear at this place. Only gun tags. Ive never shot a bear. Wouldnt even know what to do with it. ahaha. I could have shot her three times.

    Sounds like a great hunt! Ive only seen 1 deer in 5 sits. Some might get dejected. I like it. Haha

    I realize I've been spoiled ROTTON in my bowhunting "career"
    Its hard to imagine fellas like you n swampy putting in that much time and seeing so few deer.
    You have balls to stick it out for sure.!!
    Years ago, I shot a buck real early in the season so tagged out.
    Spent the rest of the season filming my ex.
    On film, 44 bucks "different " bucks were passed up including 2_3 that made me wanna pull my hair out.

    Ill get it together and start getting on the deer. There is a lot of food on the forest floor and mile after mile of the big woods. Hard to pin down....but Im gonna keep at it.

    I’m with you VS, I’ve been out 4 times this year and have yet to see a deer. Now it has been pretty warm, so that hasn’t helped, but we usually see deer activity pick up in the next week or so.

    Good Lord. Was 100g% chance of rainthis eve so I did not go out (even though I had the urge)
    Took a tour starting at 5 and ended at dark, (but 7ish)
    No rain and seen well over 100 deer:rant:
