Congrats to all that killed! My son and I are all set up in the blind. Really warm and windy so I doubt much will happen. Acorns bombing down on the edge of this combined corn field. I came in more to work on the scrape now that my smokeys lure arrived. Good luck to all!
One of the scrapes I’m 20 yards from has doubled in size since yesterday. Guess he didn’t like the tarsal gland drops I put in it !! I hope it pisses him off enough to come check it out this morning.
In and set. Left my hook in the last tree tho. Very wet, but rain letting up till noon ish... Game on.
Congrats on the buck and doe, great job recovering! Today is our opener, but came down with a nasty cold yesterday. Still running a fever and feel like crap. Fever has been hovering around 100, not in my chest and not worried about covid, but won’t be heading out this weekend. Hunting vicariously through everyone here this weekend. Best of luck to everyone out.
Just had 3 doe going warp speed by on the other side of the field. Something bumped them. Now I know I'm hunting in their safety area.
I’m waiting on daylight. Been here for about 1/2 already. Coyotes let loose about 100yds up wind of me, hoping that they come by later. I hate those little bastards
Congrats on the kills everyone!! This thread gets me through the week! I’m back in the stand this morning! Warm and windy here, not super ideal. I watched a big one walk through a strip of beans into the woods on my way out to the blind. Hoping he is taking his sweet time, the trails should lead him right past me. Good luck everyone!
It’s opening day of duck in Pennsylvania and I’m almost certain every duck in Erie county is dead. I have lost count at the amount of shots. Who knows, maybe they will push something up towards me... Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
