It should not be 80 degrees in central MN in the middle of October. Our beans were just combined. Will be interesting to see the deer movement now.

Had 4 deer within range last night but the biggest doe never gave me a good shot. Sitting a different spot today. Had a spike wind me at 5:10. Hoping he didn't blow the whole area out.

Bruh... I should not be getting eaten alive by these tiny black bugs in October. Remind me of a gnat but a little bigger and bite more. Thermacell not working on them.

I appreciate it guys! As frustrating as it is where I hunt, there is a more I can do to make it better for myself. There are deer in there, I just have to go above and beyond what is normally required elsewhere to have encounters. Offseason is where I can make the season better for myself. I honestly can't put myself through this another season. This season is the one that will break the camel's back. I will do what's necessary to make the next few seasons my best yet in those woods.

Once I'm done with school in a few years, I won't have nearly the amount of time to hunt as I have the past few years. I'm considering just hunting 7-10 days out in the midwest, either at the DIY outfitter I went to previously, DIY on public land somewhere, or perhaps take a few offers that members on here have extended!! LOL!

Ok. Finally set up in the saddle for the evening hunt. First time hunting this spot. Looks really neat and the wind (barely any) is perfect. Super quiet in here cause it lightly sprinkled today. I am locked and loaded to shoot ANYTHING! Be safe and good luck to all who are out. KILL!!!

These are smaller than those. Very little. Maybe the size of the tip of a pen.

No hunting today or tomorrow. Warm weather and projects to do... Been terribly slow anyways. New plot twist...Farmer just came up and shaved 150 acres of red clover. All corns been done and beans are next. Ww just coming in. So this should have a shift happening be it good or worse.

This is the most blood from my buck. 120 yards double lunged. Just drops of blood. If i didnt hear him crash i would of never thought he died.
