Saw at least six tonight. Nothing close enough though. It was awesome not having to deal with bugs. Sent from my XT1650 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Had a spike come by right after I got setup. Otherwise pretty slow! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Seen 1 small buck tonight and a handful of doe's and fawns. About a half hour left and had a sow and cub come out and cleared the food plot.
Hiked back 1.25 miles to an oak finger that went into a swamp. Bumped one on my way back there. No fresh sign but did find an old stand that someone didn't want to carry back out. Sent from my XT1650 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app

Made it out friday afternoon, didn't see anything but I knew I was in the right spot. 2 funnels in view leading into a swamp, one at 25 yards, the other at 50 yards. the swamp is littered with hoof prints. That being said, I'm handing that spot over to my dad on Thursday. It will be a great spot for him on the ground. I'm hoping to get out on Tuesday afternoon, and will most likely do a Thu,Fri, Sat hunt as well. Anything but a fawn will get an arrow. My dad's good friend is all setup in his garage to process deer now so I won't have to worry about paying a butcher, or doing it myself. The friend's only request is a share of the meat. a fee I'm willing to pay! Time to be a killer and get more points on the board!!
Checking in from Idaho. I’ll be back in the stand this week. I get back from this trip tomorrow evening. Good luck team! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I will be heading out today. Windy and little warmer but they got the corn cut so I will be hunting an edge. Should be in the stand around 3:30. Hopefully see some movement. 1st stand sit of the year for me
Supposed to be pretty warm here until Monday. Think I’ll knock a few honey do’s off the list before I completely checkout for the next month. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I had every intention on being in a tree tonight but forgot we have chickens going out (we are staying with my girlfriends parents for the time being as we look for a house). They own a commercial chicken barn that holds roughly 45,000 chickens and I help her dad out whenever he needs it. Hell or high water I will be in a tree tomorrow afternoon (supposed to be 80 degrees, but I don't give a rats ass).
Went out yesterday morning. Heavy winds so I still hunted my way to a buck bed. Overshot the bed, very enjoyable hunt though! its 0315 as I type this. I'm headed out again this morning. 33 degrees! Giddyup!!!!
I'm ready for some cooler weather here in south central Kansas! We need to start stacking up some points on this thing!! Lets go, and good luck to anyone hunting this weekend.
