    As some of you know I was forced per county policy to not work for two weeks a while back due to son being tested for COVID - even despite it coming back negative. Anyways, in the off time and being second in charge I felt bad so created for us our office's own website to get out from under the lazy and unresponsive IT department with our county...elected official told me well I cannot give a bonus or pay you more...but I can give ya a couple days off for hunting!!!

    BOOOOM! Add a few more days worth of time come the end of October and Early November. :D

    A pretty good storm blew through NY heavy winds, rain and some hail. I’m leaving work at 1130 tonight so I can get up in the morning. ATV is already loaded and clothes out. Hopefully I can contribute. By the way thanks for all the well wishes and prayers shoulder feels good.

    I'm so glad to hear you're doing better. Good luck in the morning.

    I'm taking some needed time off. Actually it's required time off. The fridge is full of assorted deer body parts that need to be processed. :lol:

    I’ll give a good update tomorrow, but for those who haven’t seen it yet, I got me a special buck tonight. Haven’t scored it yet, but he has 9 points and is super weird.

    We got hit by that storm. Power has been out going about 20hrs so far, still have power lines and trees on the road up from the house. It has kinda put a hold on hunting if I kill it, I can't clean it without water. Also i am flying out to FL on Saturday for a funeral. Hopefully next week I'll be able to get in the stand.

    I hate to admit this, but I almost passed on that fella over points... I horn hunted last year and only took a doe waiting on one buck the entire season. I told myself I wasn't doing that this year and the freezer is getting stocked for the next "pandemic". I'm still pumped, I'll get some measurements and pics of his funky curly spike when after I get all the meat ground and in the freezer.
