This is probably my new favorite recipe for venison roast. Very easy, 5 ingredients and like 2 mins of prep time.

    Ingredients
    1. Venison roast
    2. Au Jus packet
    3. Ranch dressing packet
    4. 1 12oz jar of Pepperonchini
    5. 1 stick of butter

Place the roast in a slow cooker. Sprinkle on the Au Jus and Ranch packets. Dump in 1/2 of the pepperonchinis and half of the juice from the jar. Place 1 stick of butter (a lot of recipes will use less but I like butter lol) on top of the roast. Set on low and let it do it's thing for 8 hours. Do not add any water, stock or broth. After 8 hours the meat will be ready and will be falling apart. I serve mine with egg noodles.

I've made this with neck roast as well as shoulder and rump roast. Fantastic every time.

I will put my favorite on here as well:
    1 inch thick tenederloin slices
soak in coke for 24 hours
soak in honey for another 24 hours
wrap each slice in half a slice of bacon with a toothpick
low on the grill until bacon starts to harden, med to med rare on the inside

been doing this for 20+ years..unbelievable

    Wow! That sounds incredible!

Kind of similar to the way I prepare backstrap(minus marinating for 48 hours)

Take whole backstrap and butterfly it down the center.
Mix bacon bits, jalepeno peppers, cream cheese and spices into a paste and spread it along the backstrap.
fold the backstrap up and wrap in bacon.
Smoke it on low until bacon hardens up.
Cut into 1" pieces and serve

We do this all the time at the firehouse. With beef though.
