Positive it was a buck, unless gender neutrality has taken its grasp within the deer herd and if so, look out scorecard thread...
Kind of pissed at myself, I told myself to get down and get in the brush where they came out, but I waited to long. Would have been a 15 yard shot.
Nothing for me again. On a pretty good streak of not seeing deer so I got that goin for me. Sent from my SM-G960U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Had that happen to me last year, just got to listen to that gut. Any chance to get back in there? Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
So the next weekend I say I'll hunt and likely won't will probably be the 16th-18th. Already know this next weekend is off the table due to a new job at work coming in, be nice to get OT though heading into November. Weekend of the 16th will have a better moon, just have to see what the weather does.
Absolutely, quite frankly, I’ve hunted this place for 10years, I know the main routes but I always play it safe. I’m always just out of range or out of light, I had the perfect wind to make a quick blind. Oh well, maybe it’s just the kick in the butt I need.
A little handy work while watching a movie with the family tonight and my rangefinder dropping issues are solved. Made a paracord woven lanyard with an opening clip. I can wear it around my neck or hang it off the gear hanger. @LittleChief and @wl704 does this meet your approval?
Team 11 has its third buck down! @Bullridnfool killed tonight. Pics are on the team thread. It may be the biggest taken in the contest so far. Close to it if its not.
Everyone wanting to be a mike these days... Won't go there to see it, glad he recovered. Give him my congrats please.
