If they come in there I’ve got ‘ em this afternoon and tomorrow. This wood patch is only about 130 yards from north to south. I’m 60 yards from the south edge and 30 yards from the east edge. Wind is SW today and now they’re saying W tomorrow.
Hey I told you to move yesterday. You could have had a big buck! Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
Haha! I learned my lesson last year and cost me the biggest buck I saw all year. Sometimes if worth it to make that last minute move, even if you only have a hour of light left. Did the buck go by without detecting you? If so he probably was heading to bed. He most likely will travel the same path back in the evening. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
I’m going to sit until 1:00. I’ll scramble to my brothers house (15 minutes away), put my phone and Ozonics battery on charge, grab something to eat and then be back by 3:30 or 4:00. Oh, and when I get down there are two pesky maple limbs I need to cut.
You might be just outside his bubble. There is only so far he will travel from bed during day light. I bet he is within 100 yards of you right now. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
Could safely move further south into the little thicket across the path? If this afternoon doesn't work, it may be worth it tomorrow.
I’ve got a bad feeling about where I’m sitting. The more I look at where I was sitting and the angles I believe I’m sitting right where they’re walking. If I’m right they’re going to be walking straight to me and away from me. I’ve gotta move again.
There’s this cluster of four trees 35 yards away. The 2nd from the right looks to be perfect for climbing. The multiple trunks will make great cover and that should put me about 15-20 yards east of where I think they’re walking. To move or not to move. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
