I had the same experience with a hang on set up. Weight wasn't an issue, I hated walking through the woods and constantly getting caught on everything.

Check out https://genesis3dprinting.com/. They make after market gear for things like carrying sticks. It seems like a good system. I may invest in it, but I like carrying a pack with me so I just strap my sticks to the pack and have not needed it.

You know, these saddles need to be hand washed....you could wear it in the shower and kill two birds.

After yesterday’s opener I realized there actually is something to the phrase getting in saddle shape. I spent a total of 10 hours in my saddle yesterday and boy do I have a couple sore muscles today. One area in lower back is aching and I woke up 3 times last night with cramps in my calves. I guess I should have done some warmup exercises before the hunts.

Your not kidding! It took me 3 or 4 hunts before I started feeling good. I may have to remember that before next year and do some practice sits in the yard

After a few hunts and one of them being an all-dayer, I can honestly say I like but not love it for the comfort aspect but the low weight and Streamline design outweigh the little bit of discomfort. It’s taken me a little learning to setup in different trees with tether height, length etc. if come to full draw and then suddenly almost lost my crap off balance lol. Had to look hilarious from a squirrels view watching me flail trying to correct myself. I guess I’m not the Spider-Man I thought I was

What sticks are people using. Looked at Infalts and while I’m sure they are top notch quality damn they’re expensive. I’m using Lonewolfs now but want shorter without having to do a bunch of mods. Read reviews of the Hawk short sticks and quality issues keep coming up.

I have tried many cheaper brands and I have lone wolf's also. Hands down the beast sticks are the best. That's all I use. Bite the bullet and spend the bucks now before you go down the rabbit hole. At the end of the day, they are worth it.

Also he has a option to buy blemish ones, that's what I would do, then add stealth strips.

I only use 3 sticks with a 1 step aider on each one. I have no problem getting close to 20' on a straight tree including my platform. If the tree has limbs, I can get even higher if need be. Also have option to 1 stick climb from last stick if you need more height.
