Set up day for me for the first weekend of the park hunt. Starting tomorrow I'll be in stand for the next 3 days. Temps starting out hot and dropping as the weekend progresses so hoping to see some action.

Sorry I’ve been absent the last few weeks. We are in the middle of a partial remodel on our house and getting ready to move in when it’s done. Sat this morning and let the girlfriend try to shoot a doe, had 3 come in at first light but I ultimately didn’t like the 35 yard shot with her never been hunting before and told her to wait. Hunted hard all weekend and had a single doe sighting to show for it. I'll be back at it sometime this week to hit this cold front that's coming through!
While guys around 5am i'll be heading to Indiana for the opener. I can't stay my standards will be as high on this hunt as they are at home, but i'm hoping to have a good time with some buddies. Here are some cool pictures from the cameras i got to check before packing up. Huge body small rack.
