Great! New properties to hunt are always nice to get! New properties around here are hard to get. Good luck. My season starts Thursday!

Man I hope that above average property pans out for you. Everyone want to kill an above average deer...lol. I've had a few does in range the last hunt, but not buck in bow range yet. Not planning to shoot a spike...but plans change and circumstances change:cool:

Well I got one. He’s not a monster but gets us on the board. They don’t come easy where I’m from

@Mlavigne78 , you need to edit your scorecard entry post to include the time of the kill.

I fixed it. I swore I had put it.. I kept checking the rules. I was more worried about getting the score correct.

I have posted the buck on to the Score card page. 109 2/8". Far from a monster as far as this contest goes, but a good bow kill in my part of the world. I hunt 40 acres in Northwest NC. Ive had pictures of this deer since June. I always hunt the best deer I know of on any property. I have passed several doe every hunt. I will add another 50 points next time out. I have been wanting to use the Xbow anyways. I have hunted hard since opening day and glad to have him under my belt. I am wanting to spend more time with family this year anyways. Maybe now I can see if I can get my kids interested in hunting!

I realize I’m pretty much screwed with these two.

One of these days I’m going to remember to put a handful of rocks in my pack for situations like this and when they pin me in my tree at dark.

I use golf balls. They're laying all over so it's easy to take a couple to the stand with me.
