A no knock ALLOWS the officer to kick the door in. In this case, it appears they did not do that. They only kicked the door in when the people inside refused to open the door.

Why bother asking for a no knock and then announce? Makes absolutely no sense. Add in that the occupant(s) were not the subject of the warrant because the cops were at the wrong address and that the subject person had been arrested earlier that day, that department has some problems. I will not argue that the cops had the right to defend themselves once fired upon. They did. The cops on scene were not the direct cause of the woman's death. He boyfriend should be the responsible party. The errors in detail don't look good for that department.
The cops were at the exact address on the warrant. And Ms. Taylor was seen coming and going from a known drug house, bailed out drug dealers from jail, and was heard on jail tapes where drug dealers spoke about keeping their money at her house.
