Yea when I was in VA I used to run across alot of king snakes. On the flipside I also ran into alot of rattlesnakes.
About to head back to the woods. Looking at heading into an area I have not been into yet and do a run n gun hunt. Going to walk a transition until I find sign worthy to setup on. Guess we will see how it goes. Who knows what the evening will bring.
Boogered up another small group, decent bull and some cows. Gonna sit on a nearby finger ridge till dusk.
I’m all set up in the T woods. I found a tree to get in that lets me take a little advantage of the wind I have. It’s a small tree, about 8.5” in diameter, and I’m only about 12 feet up, but I’m well concealed and have both approaches to the pond within bow range. Does are off the menu tonight.
Not much going on out here in the corn stand. Wind is out of the east but can't make up its mind as to NE, E or SE. 2hrs of shooting time left. Its the best part of the day!
The wind is doing the same here. NE is bad. E is marginal and SE is okay. I just wish it would pick a direction. I’m relying heavily on the Ozonics right now.
