    I actually forgot my crescent wrench, so I couldn't even unfold the blade to use the saw. Rookie move!

    I also installed this luxurious bar stool as my blind chair. Found it sitting by a donation bin and pilfered that sh!t.

    How far did he end up running on you Josh. I know he bumped once. Was it just one lung? With the blood you had, surely he didn’t go too far.

    ~830 ft from first shot to follow up shots. 1 lung, liver and clipped the stomach. I had awesome blood for 50 yards, drops for 30 more yards, and then a single drop of stomach contents. The rest was just following trails and the creek until I bumped him.

    I was the closest I’ve ever been to an opening day buck this evening. Had unique buck at 5 yards that came in with a bachelor group. Had a stud 3.5 year old 12 pointer that got the pass and a nice 2.5 year old 8 pointer. This is the buck I passed at 5 yards. I was at full draw on him and couldn’t get myself to do it.[​IMG]
