I found one. I just screwed up.

Filling the freezer is my goal every year and I’ll get started soon. I’ve already passed quite a few slam dunk shots on does during evening hunts.

Now that I know what’s walking my little patch of woods I won’t shoot any doe, not even that blowhard doe (who will henceforth be known as Monica) on an evening sit.

Yeah I saw your post earlier about, that's rough. Thank goodness you didn't try and shoot. Lost buck and a blow up bow could have made for a bad day. You don't get to many chances at big bucks, hopefully you can locate him again. Stay mobile and keep him on his toes.

Rocking it in a ground blind this AM. I can see to shoot now. No more then a 25yd shot here. 59deg, light NE wind in my face. Been lots of 07-0830 activity here, Doe and Buck. Good luck everyone.

I have an arrow nocked! I learned from reading this thread that your supposed to do that before it gets light.

Ill send an arrow your way. Bahaha. Had that 2 years ago. Got in stand settled in. Started drinking my coffee and bam the one i was after 15 yards. Grabbed my bow no arrow and quiver at my feet. Know the feeling all to well. Just gotta rub some dirt on those feelings and take an extra couple seconds.... to knock an arrow.
