I’m no good at aging deer but have never really cared a lot about how old they were either. He’s definitely a good one.

90 degrees!! Damn!! Might as well hunt naked and cover your body in face paint!! Just the thought of that is making me laugh.

Hopefully we have some more responders before end of day tomorrow. I want to put a name with the number. So far looks like “arrow addicts”AA17 is in the lead. I’ve been watching the live from the stand thread. A teammate from last year got a doe down on opening day. Exciting stuff. I’ve been kicking the thought around of getting Maryland liscense and getting an earlier start there. It’s only 45 minutes from my house to the border. It just kills me when guys are hunting and I can’t.

In pa we are not allowed to shoot a second deer until we have first one tagged out of woods. Keeps guys from just wiping out groups of deer if they have tags for them. I’ve seen it happen in gun season.

If we have no more replies for a choice of team names by tomorrow morning I will try to figure out how to attach the name to our thread. It will feel more official then.

Congrats bro! Just do t forget the second picture when you post it on the scoreboard.

My vote is Happy for Captain, Bloodline Brotherhood for team name. I couldn’t remember if we had made the ballot official yet.

Went for a quick in and out at noon today to switch cards in the cameras. I got a few more pics of my target buck and another one that I would most likely shoot just behind him. Made me want to go out and shoot. Confidence level is high and cameras are still showing great activity around stands. Can’t wait!! Practiced from the saddle twice this week on tv here as well. Deer Beware HAPPY is coming to get ya!!

Looks like an old deer! I just checked cameras on the farm and I have a pretty good one. Going down tomorrow to hang a set and pop up a hay bale blind. Good luck guys. Oh, I’ll post pics. It’s blurry but you can see the length of his tines IMG_1658.JPG IMG_1658.JPG
