I’ve been keeping very close tabs on who hasn’t checked in. While it’s true there are only six alternates signed up, there are only six folks who haven’t checked in. We have to give the guys who haven’t checked in until Monday morning. That’s two weeks from when the teams list was posted. If your missing member hasn’t checked in by then you won’t have to request an alternate. I’ll assign one.
Finally able to get out for my first sit in Kentucky... not looking promising... has 4 cows hang out in front of me for about 30 mins at first light... now they are just randomly milling around.. The boy drew some SD blood. Maybe hit a little back we’re gonna give him a couple hours and take the trail up. Pass thru with good blood for first 20 then backed out. Hopefully, it's an easy track and recovery! I suffer from gout flare-ups as well....BRUTAL!! I'm on all kinds of meds to lower my uric acid. I've had about 6 flareups so far this year, 5 in my left knee which are excruciating to the point of vomiting for me. Just had a flareup in my big left toe a few days ago, my new meds took care of it quickly! I hope it goes away quick for you!
This is my first ever... very painful. cherry extract, lots of water and anti-inflammatories. Toe feels better than it did last night. It’s tough to stay away from beer too.

Icing it works pretty well. Call your Primary care doctor on Monday and see if they can prescribe colchicine for the next time it flares up, or if it hasn't gone away by then.
