Oh, it's easy to find. The problem on a Mac is figuring out how to reduce the size of the file so that it doesn't exceed the size limit. It wasn't difficult. I just had to import Ty's pic, save it on my desktop and then convert it from a PNG file to a JPEG file. That took care of it.
Well team, change of plans. I was planning on going back to Kentucky on Tuesday to hunt the new moon phase, but my brother will be out of town starting Wednesday. So, I'm heading back to Kentucky tomorrow and I'll hunt for a few days. After that, I'll be back here in Missouri for the opener on the 15th. I plan to start on the new 14 acres I got access to earlier this year that borders my property. If nothing happens here at home then I'll head to our public land spot 30 minutes from my house. I know some good water sources there.
Finally! My new strings arrived, now to try and find a bow shop that isn’t backed up to install them try and get them broke in before the 26th.
That's right! I forgot that you shoot a Heli-m too. I love that bow. I hope you find a shop that can get it installed for you quickly.
I’m going to drop it off at a shop tomorrow, he will have all next week to fit it in while I’m in Florida.
Guys great job on the team name and logo!! Frost last night and predicted again tonight. Bugs should be gone!

Well got sitter planned for next Friday on my day off, gonna probably go try and kill an antlerless in reduction zone. Winds will decide which stand, but got one for pretty much any save a South for early reduction hunting. I feel utterly unprepared with the move and lack of prep to climb a tree LOL, but gonna do it and get the rough ones out of the way hopefully soon. Knowing our team probably be couple dead deer by then LOL
I also plan on getting out next weekend for Michigan’s early for season. I’m going to try to squeeze in a couple hunts to work out the kinks and jitters that come with ever bow season. I don’t think that I’m going to dive in to my main spots unless there is total lack of bucks and over abundance of does. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I just listened to the Wired to Hunt podcast. Episode #69 they discuss the "red moon". I have no experience with it, so when I saw it being discussed I thought I would learn a bit more about it. Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
Well fellows, another trip to Kentucky, another doe in the cooler. I sat the "dirt bike" stand yesterday afternoon and watched 8 does/fawns walk by @ 15 yards. I'm sticking to my self-imposed rule of not shooting a doe in the evenings this early. I don't care for having to make all that commotion in a good spot when the bucks are likely moving. Also, I don't want to be up until 11:00 or later skinning and quartering a doe. This morning I went back to the same spot. Not long before sunrise three does came into the woods headed straight for me. I was in my Summit Viper, as always, and I've never shot sitting down before even though I do practice it. I knew that about 30 yards was as close as they were going to get on that trail and if I stood up there would be a branch in the way, so I stayed seated, twisted to the right and grabbed my bow. They all turned exactly where I thought they would and were all grouped together broadside at 31 yards. My Spot Hogg Fast Eddie XL sight is the 2 pin model. I keep the top pin dialed to 20 yards and the second pin is right at 31 yards. One of the smaller ones walked out in front and the view I had was the lead doe at 31 yards with a smaller doe right beside her and between us. The top of the smaller does back was covering the brisket of the doe I wanted to shoot. I drew, aimed carefully and touched the release. Watching that Nocturnal sail right over the back of one deer and slam into the boiler room of the bigger doe was a thing of beauty.
Congrats Johnny!! Your two up on the rest of us! That's good thinking about shooting does in the morning. Woke up to rain this morning no hunting. Rain most of the day, finally let up around 3. Hunted a stand close to home, had 2 does and 3 fawns at 20 yards. Decided not to shoot to see what else might come by. Nothing else came by.
