Hopefully I can find some free time next week to hang a couple stands. I’m gonna try the grapevine licking branch technique this year.

Sorry guys, I've been pretty quiet. I hunt 40 acres of private in south central WI and have a lot of public land I can hunt in the surrounding area. I am usually good for a doe each year. I have been in a bit of a drought with bucks the last few years, mostly because I have been getting more picky, so hopefully that changes this year. I don't have any big guys on camera yet but they are around and they will come around come mid October.

The tree stands are all up and trimmed out, my season opens on Sept 12th but I probably wont have my first sit until early October. I picked up a new to me used bow this year (Mathews Halon 32-6) so I have been working on getting that set up. I put on a new center serving, d-loop, peep, and sight so I had to start from scratch. I like working on my own equipment so it is a fun process for me.

Good luck gentleman, sounds like we will be a solid team with a good attitude. Let's win this thing.

That’s a great bow Blarney. I picked up a VXR 31.5 this year. This is her maiden voyage yesterday

Absolutely not. I gave my two cents on an idea last week but don’t know how to make one from scratch. Lol. Hopefully we have somebody in our team who can help :)

I pulled a card on this 15 acres that I was taking about few weeks ago. I found where two trails meet right next to a corn field.

wow... those are some nice ones!
I can barely login to this site on my computer, let alone create an avatar... hahaha..
    Appreciate your effort though.
Away for a few days with the family... back to the bears and get things rolling for CT & then NY for 10/1.
