that depends on the doe for me. There's one wicked witch of a nanny doe in WI that if I ever get the chance she's getting stuck even if she's got one hanging from her teat. She's ruined so many damn hunts for me...she'll walk a circle around me 70 yards off stomping and snorting for over an hour. Gotten to the point that when she pegs me I just get down and move.

One thing you can try is pay attention to the direction she is walking / facing before you shoot. Alot of times they will continue to run the same direction after you shot them.
