I limit my sodium intake to 1500 mg per day, which blows! I have an extremely high uric acid level. They are trying many different types of meds to get it down, and one of the side effects is flare-ups. I'm thinking my past 43 years of eating whatever I want, as much as I want, whenever I want is catching up with me! That and lack of exercise since starting school. I'm on a health kick now though, walking between 3.5-5 miles per day with a 25 pound backpack on. I've been doing that for almost a month and a half, and I can already feel a difference. Once I drop 20 pounds or so, I plan on starting running again. My goal weight is 180. Right now im 238, LOL!!!
You can do it Joe! I started the covid quarantine at 231 and got all the way down to 191, now I’m hovering around 195 depending on the day! Thanks joe! It’s tough but doable! After I lost about 10-15lbs initially the wife and I did the whole 30 diet 30 days no sugar, alcohol, dairy, legumes, or grains, it was tough but that really got me losing weight and it helps people figure out what causes them to bloat, and other issues. It’s tough while you are doing it but definitely worth it! Biggest downside was needing to get new early season pants!! So driving home from work today I saw a giant moccasin dead on the side of the road. Without hesitation I throw my fist in the air and yelled yea! Am I the only one who gets excited when one gets eaten by a vehicle? I don't mind snakes just hate the poisonous ones.
