Being somewhat of a newby to bowhunting AND turkey hunting..and being too lazy to look for similar topic.. I want to ask everyone if there is a difference in behavior patterns with fall turkeys vs. spring turkeys? ..apologies if this isntthe right place for this question..

    100% different behavior

think of deer in spring vs deer in fall - fall is the deer rut

    spring is the turkey rut

I answered your other post in the "Welcome" thread. And welcome by the way!
You can still call them, but it is different sounds and much more non-excited type of sounds. You're trying to appeal to their social curiosity rather than excited mating season sounds. They like to flock up in the fall, so they'll still be attracted to the sounds of another turkey.
Finding roosts is a solid idea. Soft calling using social/feeding sounds near roosts in the late afternoon would be solid, or the same type of calling near food sources.
