Our season opens tomorrow. Ky is the place to get one in velvet. Picture is of one from last year that I let go. Of course, this year the land owner said no hunting until mid October. Sigh. He wants his son to get first shot during the youth hunt. Fair enough,but I hope that deer is around still. Haven’t even got a camera there yet......forbidden fruit.
Checking in from North Central Illinois. Season here starts October 1st. I mostly hunt public but have a decent 20 acre family tract that usually provides. Got cameras out late this year, haven’t pulled cards yet so not sure what I’m working with. I typically hunt a little through October but take two weeks off early November to hit it hard during the rut. Really looking forward to some tree stand therapy. You guys have some badass deer around. I checked cams the other day, hand full of does and fawns. I haven't seen that 10 anymore, but the smaller 6 is still around here and there. So, we gonna do team name or avatar?
