Thanks guys. I got her skinned, quartered and on ice. Two things: First, Im a true believer in Ozonics now. Both groups of does not only crossed downwind, but the first group actually stopped when it hit the Ozonics stream, fidgeted around and then the lead doe followed the scent stream right to the base of my tree. Second, HOLY CRAP at the horse flies in the fields here! I guess it’s because there are so many cattle around. I got bit about 25-30 times trying to field dress that doe.
How fitting, you're using Orion, The Great Hunter, from Greek mythology. Way to start off the season, my friend!!
Well folks, I was planning to stay and hunt longer, but the highs are around 90 and the lows are only in the mid 60’s for the next few days. I don’t see any need in suffering any more than I have to, so I’m about to go retrieve my stands and I’ll head home.
Congrats Chief... The blood letting has begun! For us keeping score .. any guess on how many LC stacks in the freezer this year? I say 9.....
Let’s just go ahead and make it easy for everyone to keep up. Official @LittleChief count total 2020 1) 09/07/2020 Doe Kentucky
