He can take it if he wants it. I was captain of my team for the last two years so I would be willing to handle that responsibility as well. All his if he wants it though.

Haven't done that before, but it's OK with me if the rest of you are good with it.

What are some thoughts on names? Hunting themes, current events? Team 15 had me laugh out loud. Quaranteam, Social Distance ... maybe?

My son lives in Colorado and we have a 2nd home in Breckenridge. I ski mostly Vail, Copper, and Breck.

Hey guys my name is Jake and I’m checking in from Missouri. I was one of the guys posting in the wrong thread, sorry bout that. I’ll mainly be hunting my farm in northeast Missouri and possibly a little public ground around the area as well. Looking forward to following our team through the season!

Short69 here. I have 40 acres to hunt about 5 minutes from the house that backs up to a 450 acre off-road park owned by a family friend.

Lots of bucks tonight but none I’m interested in. Not now anyway.

Solid bucks! I think I’ll use the long weekend to get my final touches done in the woods and then stay out until a cold front comes in October. There’s corn surrounding both farms I hunt. I’ll do some run n gun public land this year on weekends or days where school is out.

    Name ideas:

    Main Frame 8
    8ball
Kyūdō (this is the samurai art of archery. I'm a little hung up on the history of samurai as a little insight to why I chose this name.)

Spent today tending cameras and relocating a ladder stand. May have one more stand to get up ... waiting for some trail camera pictures from that area to confirm what’s on that property.

Team 8 last year was “Make America 8 Again” (hence the red hats on the buck avitars). We could go with that theme again with “Keep America 8”?

That sounds pretty good to me.

Here are a couple of public land bucks that I have on cam at one area I hunt. I have cams out on other public hunting areas as well, just haven't checked them. Season starts here next Saturday.

I don’t have any mature buck pictures to share yet. As I’ve said I bought a 40 acre parcel last fall so this is my first full season hunting/ prepping it. (My son shot a small doe last year off of it). I put in a couple clover kill plots and a nearly 1 acre destination food plot. Planted wheat oats peas and rye on 1/2 and brassicas on the other half. The land is about 1/2 standing pines and the rest aspen/mixed alder swamp. Former Potlatch land. We have at least one resident doe with fawn and other random does and small bucks. And several bears and cubs. So basically still in heard building mode. Now just need the bucks to show up and we’re in business. Excited for the potential this season will definitely keep you posted. Keep America 8!
